Happy Friday NewMilers!
The team has been hard at work on tons of exciting, impactful features and we are ready to share one of the big ones with you! Adding new organizations in NewMile just got a whole lot smoother. Whether you’re connecting with an existing partner or spinning up something brand new, our revamped
Org Creation Flow
keeps things intuitive, fast, and hassle-free.✨
Connecting to an Existing Organization
When you begin typing an organization’s name, NewMile will suggest matches that already exist in the system. If the one you need appears, simply select it, and NewMile will automatically pull in the current address. You’ll then be prompted to choose how your organization interacts with that partner—whether as a Contractor, Material Supplier, or Hauler—and you can select more than one if needed. Once you save, the organization is ready to go for use in Projects, Purchase Orders, and more.
✨
Creating a New Organization
If the name you’re entering doesn’t match any suggestions, you’ll see the option to add it as a brand-new organization. NewMile will ask if you’re the owner of this org, and we recommend only selecting “Yes” for new lease operators, sub-hauler organizations. After that, you’ll be asked to provide an address (a required field) and to define how your organization will interact—again choosing from Contractor, Material Supplier, or Hauler. Once saved, the new organization will be immediately available for all your project and order needs.
