We have the ability to set an effective date for PO pricing, but we don't have the ability to set this on our cost side (orders). The PO could be properly set up but if the order is reordered from the outdated PO pricing we can end up with the wrong rate or unit.

The pay rate can (and should if applicable) be updated when a user does a reorder. We can't really do effective dates for rates on orders because the way the system is built you create an order each day you run off a specific purchase order. If the person reordering doesn't know the new rate, then I would assume it should be caught during the review process.

Miranda Reilly The person who is reordering probably doesn't know that there was a new effective rate since you reorder from orders and not the PO. Reorders can happen at any point during the day so the order may be already completed prior to the person reviewing the rates knowing that it happened. It should at least zero out the pay rate and match the unit to the current effective rate if a reorder is created on an order with an outdated rate.
