Onboarding new subhaulers.
When we onboard new subhaulers we send them a NewMile fleet setup sheet but what if we did this;
When they are a subhauler that isn't leasing onto us, we do not have orientation anything etc. We give them a rundown of how the process works such as payment, NewMile, dispatch etc.
What if instead when we are onboarding new subhaulers we gave them the option to add their trucks and drivers into newmile. But it would be sent for us to review, what I mean is what if say Smith Logistics has 6 trucks. We set you up as a subfleet owner (permissions would need to be added for the next step) you get to add your trucks and drivers, but they don't "finalize" in the system until reviewed by us. So that we may change truck abbreviation or type etc as needed but it would make truck owners responsible and active in NewMile on day one.
Some of the logic may already be there as we finalize dispatch and approve orders.
This could also work for their COI, DOT#, Banking etc. That would show up to be reviewed by compliance.
^^^ Maybe somewhere in here we could Embed some scribe links on Navigating NewMile.
I could see the banking being an issue but at least DOT, Agreement and COI with an effective date so when something gets close to expiring we could be sent a notification about upcoming expiring documents.
